Everything in my house is broken
A digital collage perzine meditation on mold, digital artifice, and the distance I create between social media, my work, and myself. Visual distortion and pixelization act as a barrier between the audience and myself as I decide what to ‘allow’ myself to share. Giving myself the permission to make work that is not digestible or marketable expands the possibilities of my work, leading to more vulnerable subject matter. The more I explore personal topics such as the intersection of poverty and disability in my life the easier these topics become to talk about.
